Global Resilience Federation Partners with Global Cyber Alliance To Protect Against Cyberthreats

RESTON, VA, USA – August 8, 2019- Global Resilience Federation (GRF) has joined Global Cyber Alliance (GCA) to help advance protection against cyberthreats and other digital risks.

“We’re pleased to be working with Global Cyber Alliance and it’s a natural fit as both of our organizations are committed to international, cross-sector risk management,” said GRF Chairman and CEO Bill Nelson.

GRF serves as a hub for cyber, physical and geopolitical intelligence sharing among information sharing and analysis centers (ISACs), organizations (ISAOs), computer emergency readiness/response teams (CERTs), private vendors and government in an effort to improve security for member companies operating around the world. GRF’s cross-sector sharing network spans many critical and vital industries including financial services, healthcare, energy, legal services, professional services, and retail.

"We look forward to a fruitful partnership with the Global Resilience Foundation. The intersection of our collective efforts to reduce cyber risk brings great value to our respective efforts. GRF's esteem and deep bench of cyber expertise across a multitude of sectors will be a significant addition to the GCA partnership community," said Philip Reitinger, GCA President and CEO.

Through open source and non-public research, and threat sharing technology, GRF empowers members to share and provides them with information to help prevent attacks or mitigate their impact.

“Where GCA focuses on providing free tools and education, from email authentication protocols to small business security guides, Global Resilience Federation serves as a hub for threat information and intelligence exchange,” added Nelson. “As an integrator and distributor, we can amplify GCA’s voice, while supplying GRF member companies with additional means to protect themselves.”
